1 노래 중의 노래 곧 솔로몬의 노래라.
1 The Song of Songs, which is Solomons.

2 그분께서 자신의 입의 입맞춤으로 내게 입 맞추시기 원하노니 당신의 사랑은 포도즙보다 더 나으니이다.
2 O that you would kiss me with the kisses of your mouth! For your love is better than wine,

3 당신의 좋은 향유 냄새로 인해 당신의 이름이 쏟아부은 향유 같사오니 그러므로 처녀들이 당신을 사랑하나이다.
3 your anointing oils are fragrant, your name is oil poured out; therefore the maidens love you.

4 나를 이끄소서. 우리가 당신을 따라 달려가리이다. 왕께서 나를 자신의 방들로 데려가셨으니 우리가 당신을 기뻐하고 즐거워하리이다. 우리가 당신의 사랑을 포도즙보다 더 많이 기억하리니 올바른 자들이 당신을 사랑하나이다.
4 Draw me after you, let us make haste. The king has brought me into his chambers. We will exult and rejoice in you; we will extol your love more than wine; rightly do they love you.

5 오 너희 예루살렘의 딸들아, 내가 비록 검어도 아름다우니 게달의 장막들과도 같고 솔로몬의 휘장들과도 같으니라.
5 I am very dark, but comely, O daughters of Jerusalem, like the tents of Kedar, like the curtains of Solomon.

6 해가 나를 내리쬐어 내가 검게 되었다고 나를 흘겨보지 말라. 내 어머니의 자식들이 내게 노하여 나를 포도원 지키는 자로 삼았으나 나는 내 포도원을 지키지 아니하였노라.
6 Do not gaze at me because I am swarthy, because the sun has scorched me. My mothers sons were angry with me, they made me keeper of the vineyards; but, my own vineyard I have not kept!

7 오 내 혼이 사랑하는 당신이여, 당신이 당신의 양 떼를 먹이며 한낮에 쉬게 하는 곳을 내게 알려 주소서. 어찌하여 내가 당신 벗들의 양 떼 곁에서 곁길로 가는 자같이 되어야 하리이까?
7 Tell me, you whom my soul loves, where you pasture your flock, where you make it lie down at noon; for why should I be like one who wanders beside the flocks of your companions?

8 ¶ 오 너 곧 여자들 가운데 가장 어여쁜 자야, 네가 알지 못하거든 양 떼의 발자국을 따라 네 길로 나가 목자들의 장막들 곁에서 네 염소 새끼들을 먹일지어다.
8 If you do not know, O fairest among women, follow in the tracks of the flock, and pasture your kids beside the shepherds tents.

9 오 내 사랑아, 내가 너를 파라오의 병거들을 끄는 말 무리에 비교하였노라.
9 I compare you, my love, to a mare of Pharaohs chariots.

10 보석 줄이 드리워진 네 두 뺨과 금목걸이로 꾸며진 네 목은 아름답구나.
10 Your cheeks are comely with ornaments, your neck with strings of jewels.

11 우리가 너를 위해 은단추를 박은 금테두리를 만들어 주리라.
11 We will make you ornaments of gold, studded with silver.

12 ¶ 왕께서 자신의 상에 앉아 계실 때에 내 나드 향유가 그것의 향내를 풍기는구나.
12 While the king was on his couch, my nard gave forth its fragrance.

13 내가 참으로 사랑하는 이는 내게 몰약 꾸러미이시니 그분께서 밤새도록 내 젖가슴 사이에 누우시리로다.
13 My beloved is to me a bag of myrrh, that lies between my breasts.

14 나의 사랑하는 이는 내게 엔게디 포도원의 고벨화 송이와 같으시도다.
14 My beloved is to me a cluster of henna blossoms in the vineyards of Engedi.

15 내 사랑아, 보라, 네가 어여쁘구나. 보라, 네가 어여쁘며 비둘기 눈을 가졌구나.
15 Behold, you are beautiful, my love; behold, you are beautiful; your eyes are doves.

16 나의 사랑하는 이여, 보소서, 당신은 아름다우시며 참으로 쾌활하시니이다. 또한 우리의 침상은 푸르고
16 Behold, you are beautiful, my beloved, truly lovely. Our couch is green;

17 우리 집의 들보들은 백향목이며 우리의 서까래들은 전나무이니이다.
17 the beams of our house are cedar, our rafters are pine.
