예레미야 애가 1장 [킹제임스]

1. 1 How lonely sits the city that was full of people! How like a widow has she become, she that was great among the nations! She that was a princess among the cities has become a vassal.

   1 사람이 가득하던 도시가 어찌 외로이 앉았는가! 그녀가 어찌 과부같이 되었는가! 민족들 가운데서 큰 자로 지내며 지방들 가운데서 공주로 지내던 그녀가 어찌 속국이 되었는가!

2. 2 She weeps bitterly in the night, tears on her cheeks; among all her lovers she has none to comfort her; all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they have become her enemies.

   2 그녀가 밤에 심히 울매 그녀의 눈물이 뺨에 흐르는도다. 그녀가 사랑하던 모든 자들 가운데 그녀를 위로하는 자가 그녀에게 아무도 없으며 그녀의 모든 친구들도 그녀를 배반하여 그녀의 원수가 되었도다.

3. 3 Judah has gone into exile because of affliction and hard servitude; she dwells now among the nations, but finds no resting place; her pursuers have all overtaken her in the midst of her distress.

   3 유다는 고난과 심한 노역으로 인해 포로로 잡혀가서 이교도들 가운데 거하며 안식을 얻지 못하는도다. 그녀를 핍박하는 모든 자들이 협곡들 사이에서 그녀를 따라잡았도다.

4. 4 The roads to Zion mourn, for none come to the appointed feasts; all her gates are desolate, her priests groan; her maidens have been dragged away, and she herself suffers bitterly.

   4 아무도 엄숙한 명절들을 지키러 오지 아니하므로 시온의 길들이 애곡하는도다. 그녀의 모든 성문들이 황폐하게 되었고 그녀의 제사장들이 탄식하며 그녀의 처녀들이 고난을 당하고 그녀가 쓰라림 속에 있도다.

5. 5 Her foes have become the head, her enemies prosper, because the LORD has made her suffer for the multitude of her transgressions; her children have gone away, captives before the foe.

   5 그녀의 대적들이 우두머리가 되고 그녀의 원수들이 번영하니 이는 그녀의 많은 범법들로 인해 주께서 그녀를 괴롭게 하셨기 때문이라. 그녀의 아이들이 원수 앞에서 포로로 잡혀갔도다.

6. 6 From the daughter of Zion has departed all her majesty. Her princes have become like harts that find no pasture; they fled without strength before the pursuer.

   6 시온의 딸의 모든 아름다움이 그녀를 떠났고 그녀의 통치자들은 초장을 찾지 못하는 수사슴같이 되어 뒤쫓는 자 앞에서 힘없이 가버렸도다.

7. 7 Jerusalem remembers in the days of her affliction and bitterness all the precious things that were hers from days of old. When her people fell into the hand of the foe, and there was none to help her, the foe gloated over her, mocking at her downfall.

   7 예루살렘이 자기의 고난과 불행을 당하던 날 곧 그녀의 백성이 원수의 손에 쓰러지고 아무도 그녀를 돕지 아니하며 대적들도 그녀를 보고 그녀의 안식일을 조롱하던 때에 자기가 옛날에 가졌던 것 즉 자기가 기뻐하던 모든 것을 기억하였도다.

8. 8 Jerusalem sinned grievously, therefore she became filthy; all who honored her despise her, for they have seen her nakedness; yea, she herself groans, and turns her face away.

   8 예루살렘이 심하게 죄를 지었으므로 옮겨졌으며 그녀를 존중히 여기던 모든 자들이 그녀의 벌거벗음을 보았으므로 그녀를 멸시하매 참으로 그녀가 탄식하고 뒤로 물러가는도다.

9. 9 Her uncleanness was in her skirts; she took no thought of her doom; therefore her fall is terrible, she has no comforter. "O LORD, behold my affliction, for the enemy has triumphed!"

   9 그녀의 더러움이 그녀의 옷자락 속에 있건마는 그녀가 자기의 마지막 끝을 기억하지 아니하는도다. 그러므로 그녀가 놀랍도록 낮아졌으나 그녀에게 위로자가 없도다. 오 주여, 원수가 자기를 크게 높였으니 나의 고난을 보시옵소서.

10. 10 The enemy has stretched out his hands over all her precious things; yea, she has seen the nations invade her sanctuary, those whom thou didst forbid to enter thy congregation.

    10 대적이 자기 손을 내밀어 그녀가 기뻐하던 모든 것 위에 두었나이다. 주께서 이교도들에게 명령하사 그들이 주의 회중 집회에 들어오지 못하게 하셨는데 그들이 자기 성소에 들어온 것을 그녀가 보았나이다.

11. 11 All her people groan as they search for bread; they trade their treasures for food to revive their strength. "Look, O LORD, and behold, for I am despised."

    11 그녀의 온 백성이 탄식하고 빵을 구하며 혼을 소생시킬 음식을 얻으려고 자기들이 기뻐하던 것들을 내주었나이다. 오 주여, 보시고 깊이 생각하소서. 내가 비천하게 되었나이다.

12. 12 "Is it nothing to you, all you who pass by? Look and see if there is any sorrow like my sorrow which was brought upon me, which the LORD inflicted on the day of his fierce anger.

    12 ¶ 길을 지나가는 너희 모든 자들아, 그 일이 너희에게는 아무것도 아니냐? 내가 당한 슬픔 같은 슬픔이 있는지 보고 또 살펴보라. 주께서 자신의 맹렬한 분노의 날에 그 슬픔으로 나를 괴롭게 하셨도다.

13. 13 "From on high he sent fire; into my bones he made it descend; he spread a net for my feet; he turned me back; he has left me stunned, faint all the day long.

    13 그분께서 위로부터 내 뼈들에 불을 보내셨으므로 그것이 그것들을 제압하는도다. 그분께서 내 발이 걸리도록 그물을 치사 나를 돌아서게 하시며 종일토록 나를 황폐하게 하시고 기진하게 하셨으며

14. 14 "My transgressions were bound into a yoke; by his hand they were fastened together; they were set upon my neck; he caused my strength to fail; the Lord gave me into the hands of those whom I cannot withstand.

    14 내 범법들의 멍에를 자신의 손으로 묶으시고 그것들을 고리로 엮으사 내 목에 올리셨도다. 주께서 내 힘을 쇠하게 하시고 나를 그들의 손에 넘겨주셨으므로 내가 그들을 피해 일어설 수 없도다.

15. 15 "The LORD flouted all my mighty men in the midst of me; he summoned an assembly against me to crush my young men; the Lord has trodden as in a wine press the virgin daughter of Judah.

    15 주께서 내 한가운데서 내 모든 용사들을 발로 짓밟으셨으며 나를 대적하려고 사람들을 불러 모으사 내 젊은이들을 짓밟으셨나니 주께서 처녀 곧 유다의 딸을 포도즙 틀에서 밟듯 밟으셨도다.

16. 16 "For these things I weep; my eyes flow with tears; for a comforter is far from me, one to revive my courage; my children are desolate, for the enemy has prevailed."

    16 이 일들로 인해 내가 우나니 내 혼을 소생시킬 위로자가 내게서 멀리 있으므로 내 눈에서 곧 내 눈에서 눈물이 흘러내리며 원수가 이겼으므로 내 자녀들이 황폐하게 되었도다.

17. 17 Zion stretches out her hands, but there is none to comfort her; the LORD has commanded against Jacob that his neighbors should be his foes; Jerusalem has become a filthy thing among them.

    17 시온이 자기 손을 펴나 그녀를 위로할 자가 없도다. 주께서 야곱에 관하여 명령하사 그의 대적들이 그를 에워싸게 하셨으므로 예루살렘이 그들 가운데서 생리하는 여인같이 되었도다.

18. 18 "The LORD is in the right, for I have rebelled against his word; but hear, all you peoples, and behold my suffering; my maidens and my young men have gone into captivity.

    18 ¶ 주께서는 의로우시도다. 내가 그분의 명령을 거역하였도다. 모든 백성들아, 원하건대 듣고 나의 슬픔을 보라. 나의 처녀들과 나의 청년들이 포로로 잡혀갔도다.

19. 19 "I called to my lovers but they deceived me; my priests and elders perished in the city, while they sought food to revive their strength.

    19 내가 나의 사랑하는 자들을 불렀으나 그들이 나를 속였고 나의 제사장들과 나의 장로들이 자기 혼을 소생시킬 양식을 구하다가 도시 안에서 숨을 거두었도다.

20. 20 "Behold, O LORD, for I am in distress, my soul is in tumult, my heart is wrung within me, because I have been very rebellious. In the street the sword bereaves; in the house it is like death.

    20 오 주여, 보시옵소서. 내가 고통 중에 있사오며 내 애가 끓고 내 마음이 내 속에서 뒤집혔나이다. 내가 극심히 반역하였으므로 밖에서는 칼이 앗아 가고 집에서는 죽음 같은 것이 있나이다.

21. 21 "Hear how I groan; there is none to comfort me. All my enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast done it. Bring thou the day thou hast announced, and let them be as I am.

    21 내가 탄식하는 것을 그들이 들었으나 나를 위로할 자가 없고 내 모든 원수들이 나의 고난을 듣고는 주께서 그렇게 행하신 것을 즐거워하나이다. 주께서 이미 부르신 그날을 가져오시리니 그들이 나처럼 되리이다.

22. 22 "Let all their evil doing come before thee; and deal with them as thou hast dealt with me because of all my transgressions; for my groans are many and my heart is faint."

    22 그들의 모든 사악함을 주 앞에 끌어내시고 내 모든 범법들로 인해 주께서 내게 행하신 것같이 그들에게도 행하소서. 내 탄식이 많고 내 마음이 힘을 잃나이다.
