학개 1장 [킹제임스]

1. 1 In the second year of King Darius, on the first day of the sixth month, the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest:

   1 다리오 왕의 제이년 유월 곧 그달 일일에 주의 말씀이 대언자 학개를 통해 스알디엘의 아들 유다 총독 스룹바벨과 요세덱의 아들 대제사장 여호수아에게 임하여 이르시되,

2. 2 This is what the LORD Almighty says: "These people say, The time has not yet come for the LORDS house to be built."

   2 군대들의 주가 이같이 말하여 이르노라. 이 백성이 이르기를, 그 때 곧 주의 집을 건축할 때가 오지 아니하였다, 하는도다, 하시니라.

3. 3 Then the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai:

   3 그때에 주의 말씀이 대언자 학개를 통해 임하여 이르시되,

4. 4 "Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?"

   4 오 너희 백성들아, 이 집이 피폐하게 남아 있는데 지금이 너희가 널빤지로 꾸민 너희 집에 거할 때냐?

5. 5 Now this is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways.

   5 그러므로 이제 군대들의 주가 이같이 말하노라. 너희 길들을 깊이 생각하라.

6. 6 You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it."

   6 너희가 씨를 많이 뿌렸을지라도 적게 거두며 먹을지라도 충분하지 아니하고 마실지라도 마신 것으로 만족하지 아니하며 입어도 따뜻하지 못하고 삯을 받는 자는 삯을 받아 구멍 난 자루에 넣느니라.

7. 7 This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways.

   7 ¶ 군대들의 주가 이같이 말하노라. 너희 길들을 깊이 생각하라.

8. 8 Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored," says the LORD.

   8 산으로 올라가서 나무를 가져다가 그 집을 건축하라. 그러면 내가 그것으로 말미암아 기쁨을 얻고 또 영광을 받으리라. 주가 말하노라.

9. 9 "You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?" declares the LORD Almighty. "Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house.

   9 너희가 많은 것을 바랐으나, 보라, 그것이 적게 되었으며 너희가 그것을 집으로 가져갔으나 내가 그 위에 바람을 불었느니라. 군대들의 주가 말하노라. 무슨 까닭이냐? 내 집이 피폐하게 남아 있는데도 너희가 저마다 달음질하여 자기 집으로 가기 때문이라.

10. 10 Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops.

    10 그러므로 너희 위의 하늘은 이슬 내기를 그치고 땅은 자기 열매 내기를 그쳤으며

11. 11 I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the oil and whatever the ground produces, on men and cattle, and on the labor of your hands."

    11 내가 그 땅과 산들과 곡식과 새 포도즙과 기름과 땅이 내는 것과 사람들과 가축과 손으로 수고하여 얻은 모든 산물 위로 가뭄을 불렀느니라, 하시니라.

12. 12 Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of the people obeyed the voice of the LORD their God and the message of the prophet Haggai, because the LORD their God had sent him. And the people feared the LORD.

    12 ¶ 그때에 스알디엘의 아들 스룹바벨과 요세덱의 아들 대제사장 여호수아가 백성 중에서 남은 모든 자들과 더불어 주 자기들의 하나님의 음성과 대언자 학개의 말들에 순종하였으니 이는 주 그들의 하나님께서 그를 보내셨기 때문이라. 백성이 주 앞에서 두려워하매

13. 13 Then Haggai, the LORDS messenger, gave this message of the LORD to the people: "I am with you," declares the LORD.

    13 그때에 주의 사자 학개가 주께서 전하시는 말씀으로 백성에게 말하여 이르되, 내가 너희와 함께하노라. 주가 말하노라, 하니라.

14. 14 So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people. They came and began to work on the house of the LORD Almighty, their God,

    14 주께서 스알디엘의 아들 유다 총독 스룹바벨의 영과 요세덱의 아들 대제사장 여호수아의 영과 백성 중에서 남은 모든 자들의 영을 움직이시매 그들이 와서 군대들의 주 곧 자기들의 하나님의 집에서 일을 하였는데

15. 15 on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month in the second year of King Darius.

    15 그때는 다리오 왕의 제이년 유월 이십사일이었더라.
