말라기 1장 [KJV]

1. 1 말라기를 통해 이스라엘에게 주어진 주의 말씀의 엄중한 부담이라.

   1 The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.

2. 2 주가 말하노라. 내가 너희를 사랑하였노라. 그러나 너희는 말하기를, 주께서 어떤 점에서 우리를 사랑하셨나이까? 하는도다. 주가 말하노라. 에서는 야곱의 형이 아니었느냐? 그러나 내가 야곱은 사랑하였고

   2 I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? [Was] not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,

3. 3 에서는 미워하였으며 그의 산들과 유산을 피폐하게 하여 광야의 용들을 위해 주었느니라.

   3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

4. 4 에돔은 말하기를, 우리가 궁핍하게 되었으나 우리가 돌아와 황폐한 곳들을 세우리라, 하되 군대들의 주는 이같이 말하노라. 그들이 세울지라도 나는 헐리라. 사람들이 그들을 일컬어 사악한 지역이라 하며 주께서 영원토록 격노하시는 백성이라 하리니

   4 Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.

5. 5 너희 눈이 그것을 볼 것이며 너희가 말하기를, 주께서는 이스라엘의 경계에서부터 크게 높여지시리로다, 하리라.

   5 And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel.

6. 6 ¶ 오 내 이름을 멸시하는 제사장들아, 군대들의 주가 너희에게 말하노라. 아들은 자기 아버지를 공경하고 종은 자기 주인을 공경하느니라. 그런즉 내가 아버지이거든 나를 공경함이 어디 있느냐? 내가 주인이거든 나를 두려워함이 어디 있느냐? 그러나 너희는 말하기를, 우리가 어떤 점에서 주의 이름을 멸시하였나이까? 하는도다.

   6 A son honoureth [his] father, and a servant his master: if then I [be] a father, where [is] mine honour? and if I [be] a master, where [is] my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

7. 7 너희가 내 제단 위에 더러운 빵을 드리고는 말하기를, 우리가 어떤 점에서 주를 더럽게 하였나이까? 하나니 너희가 말하기를, 주의 상은 업신여겨도 된다, 하는 점에서 그리하였느니라.

   7 Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD [is] contemptible.

8. 8 군대들의 주가 말하노라. 너희가 눈먼 것을 희생물로 드리면 그것이 악하지 아니하냐? 너희가 다리 저는 것과 병든 것을 드리면 그것이 악하지 아니하냐? 이제 그것을 네 총독에게 바쳐 보라. 그가 너를 기뻐하겠으며 너를 좋게 받아 주겠느냐?

   8 And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, [is it] not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, [is it] not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.

9. 9 군대들의 주가 말하노라. 이제 원하건대 우리에게 은혜를 베푸소서 하고 하나님에게 간구해 보라. 이것이 너희 수단을 통해 지금까지 있어 왔나니 그가 너희를 좋게 보겠느냐?

   9 And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.

10. 10 군대들의 주가 말하노라. 조금이라도 받지 아니하고 문들을 닫을 자가 너희 가운데 과연 누가 있느냐? 또 너희가 조금이라도 받지 아니하면 내 제단에 불을 피우지 아니하는도다. 내가 너희를 기뻐하지 아니하며 너희 손에서 헌물도 받지 아니하리라.

    10 Who [is there] even among you that would shut the doors [for nought]? neither do ye kindle [fire] on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

11. 11 내 이름이 해 뜨는 곳에서부터 해 지는 곳까지 이방인들 가운데서 크게 되고 모든 곳에서 사람들이 내 이름을 위해 향을 드리며 정결한 헌물을 드리리니 내 이름이 이교도들 가운데서 크게 되리라. 군대들의 주가 말하노라.

    11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name [shall be] great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense [shall be] offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name [shall be] great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.

12. 12 ¶ 그러나 너희는 말하기를, 주의 상은 더러워졌고 그 상의 열매 곧 그분의 먹을 것은 업신여겨도 된다, 함으로써 내 이름을 더럽혔느니라.

    12 But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD [is] polluted; and the fruit thereof, [even] his meat, [is] contemptible.

13. 13 군대들의 주가 말하노라. 너희가 또한 말하기를, 보라, 그 일이 얼마나 피곤한가! 하였으며 그 일을 향해 코웃음을 치고 찢긴 것과 다리 저는 것과 병든 것을 가져왔느니라. 주가 말하노라. 이렇게 너희가 헌물을 가져왔으니 내가 너희 손에서 이것을 받겠느냐?

    13 Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness [is it]! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought [that which was] torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.

14. 14 그러나 속이는 자 곧 자기 양 떼에 수컷이 있는데도 서원한 뒤에 부패한 것으로 주에게 희생물을 드리는 자는 저주를 받으리니 이는 내가 위대한 왕이며 내 이름이 이교도들 가운데서 두려운 것이기 때문이니라. 군대들의 주가 말하노라.

    14 But cursed [be] the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I [am] a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name [is] dreadful among the heathen.
