사도행전 1장 [킹제임스]

1. 1 In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach

   1 오 데오빌로여, 예수님께서 행하시고 가르치기 시작하신 모든 일에 관하여 내가 작성한 이전 보고서는

2. 2 until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.

   2 그분께서 친히 택하신 사도들에게 성령님을 통해 명령들을 주신 뒤에 들려 올라가신 날까지의 일을 기록한 것이라.

3. 3 After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.

   3 그분께서 수난을 받으신 뒤에 또한 그들에게 절대 확실한 많은 증거들로 자신이 살아 계심을 보여 주시고 사십 일 동안 그들에게 자신을 보이시며 하나님의 왕국에 관한 것들을 말씀하시고

4. 4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.

   4 또 그들과 함께 모이사 그들이 예루살렘을 떠나지 말고 아버지께서 약속하신 것을 기다리라고 그들에게 명령하셨느니라. 그분께서 이르시기를, 그 약속하신 것에 대해서는 너희가 내게서 들었나니

5. 5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."

   5 이는 참으로 요한은 물로 침례를 주었으나 너희는 이제부터 많은 날이 지나지 않아 성령님으로 침례를 받을 것이기 때문이라, 하시느니라.

6. 6 So when they met together, they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?"

   6 그러므로 그들이 함께 왔을 때에 그분께 여쭈어 이르되, 주여, 주께서 이때에 그 왕국을 이스라엘에 다시 회복시키려 하시나이까? 하매

7. 7 He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.

   7 그분께서 그들에게 이르시되, 때나 시기는 아버지께서 자신의 권능 안에 두셨으니 그것들은 너희가 알 바가 아니요,

8. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

   8 오직 성령님께서 너희에게 오신 뒤에 너희가 권능을 받고 예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅의 맨 끝 지역까지 이르러 나를 위한 증인들이 되리라, 하시니라.

9. 9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

   9 이것들을 말씀하신 뒤에 그분께서 그들이 보는 동안 들려 올라가시니 구름이 그분을 받아들여 그들이 보지 못하게 하더라.

10. 10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.

    10 그분께서 올라가실 때에 그들이 똑바로 하늘을 바라보고 있는데, 보라, 흰옷 입은 두 남자가 그들 곁에 서더니

11. 11 "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

    11 그들이 또한 이르되, 너희 갈릴리 사람들아, 너희가 어찌하여 서서 하늘을 바라보느냐? 너희를 떠나 하늘로 들려 올라가신 이 동일한 예수님께서는 너희가 그분께서 하늘로 들어가심을 본 것처럼 그렇게 같은 방식으로 오시리라, 하니라.

12. 12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the hill called the Mount of Olives, a Sabbath days walk from the city.

    12 그 뒤에 그들이 올리벳이라 하는 산으로부터 예루살렘으로 돌아왔는데 이 산은 안식일에도 다닐 수 있을 만큼 예루살렘에서 가까이 있더라.

13. 13 When they arrived, they went upstairs to the room where they were staying. Those present were Peter, John, James and Andrew; Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew; James son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James.

    13 그들이 도시로 들어가 베드로와 또 야고보와 요한과 안드레와 빌립과 도마와 바돌로매와 마태와 알패오의 아들 야고보와 셀롯 시몬과 야고보의 형제 유다가 머물고 있던 다락방으로 올라갔으며

14. 14 They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

    14 이들 모두가 여자들과 예수님의 어머니 마리아와 그분의 형제들과 함께 한마음이 되어 기도와 간구를 계속하더라.

15. 15 In those days Peter stood up among the believers (a group numbering about a hundred and twenty)

    15 ¶ 그 당시에 베드로가 제자들의 한가운데서 일어나 말하였는데 (함께한 사람들의 이름들 수가 약 백이십이었더라.) 그가 이르되,

16. 16 and said, "Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through the mouth of David concerning Judas, who served as guide for those who arrested Jesus--

    16 사람들아 형제들아, 예수님을 잡아간 자들의 길잡이가 된 유다에 대하여 성령님께서 다윗의 입을 통해 미리 말씀하신 이 성경기록이 반드시 성취될 필요가 있었나니

17. 17 he was one of our number and shared in this ministry."

    17 이는 그가 우리와 함께 계수되어 이 사역의 일부분을 얻었기 때문이라.

18. 18 (With the reward he got for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out.

    18 한편 이 사람이 불법의 대가로 밭을 산 뒤 거꾸로 떨어져 한가운데가 터졌고 그의 모든 창자가 흘러나왔으므로

19. 19 Everyone in Jerusalem heard about this, so they called that field in their language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.)

    19 그 일을 예루살렘에 거하는 모든 자들이 알게 되어 그 밭을 자기들 고유의 말로 아겔다마라 하는데 그것은 곧 피 밭이라는 말이라.

20. 20 "For," said Peter, "it is written in the book of Psalms, "May his place be deserted; let there be no one to dwell in it, and, "May another take his place of leadership.

    20 시편에, 그의 거처를 황폐하게 하시며 아무도 그 안에 거하지 못하게 하소서. 또 그의 감독직을 타인이 취하게 하소서, 하고 기록되었으니

21. 21 Therefore it is necessary to choose one of the men who have been with us the whole time the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,

    21 그러므로 요한의 침례로부터 시작하여 주 예수님께서 우리를 떠나 들려 올라가신 바로 그날까지 우리 가운데서 드나드시던 모든 때에

22. 22 beginning from Johns baptism to the time when Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must become a witness with us of his resurrection."

    22 우리와 함께 다니던 이 사람들 중에서 우리가 반드시 하나를 임명하여 우리와 함께 그분의 부활을 증언할 증인이 되게 해야 하리라, 하매

23. 23 So they proposed two men: Joseph called Barsabbas (also known as Justus) and Matthias.

    23 그들이 둘을 지명하니 곧 바사바라고도 하고 별명은 유스도라 하는 요셉과 맛디아더라.

24. 24 Then they prayed, "Lord, you know everyones heart. Show us which of these two you have chosen

    24 그들이 기도하며 이르되, 모든 사람의 마음을 아시는 주여, 주께서 이 두 사람 중에 누구를 택하셨는지 보여 주사

25. 25 to take over this apostolic ministry, which Judas left to go where he belongs."

    25 그가 이 사역과 사도직을 맡게 하옵소서. 유다는 자기 자신의 처소로 가려고 범법함으로 그 직분에서 떨어져 나갔나이다, 하고

26. 26 Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.

    26 제비를 뽑으니 제비가 맛디아 위에 떨어져서 그가 열한 사도와 함께 계수되니라.
