고린도전서 1장 [킹제임스]

1. 1 Paul, called to be an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,

   1 하나님의 뜻을 통해 예수 그리스도의 사도로 부르심을 받은 바울과 우리 형제 소스데네는

2. 2 To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ--their Lord and ours:

   2 고린도에 있는 하나님의 교회 즉 그리스도 예수님 안에서 거룩히 구별되고 성도로 부르심을 받은 자들과 또 각처에서 우리 주 곧 그들과 우리의 주이신 예수 그리스도의 이름을 부르는 모든 자들에게 편지하노니

3. 3 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

   3 하나님 우리 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도로부터 은혜와 화평이 너희에게 있기를 원하노라.

4. 4 I always thank God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus.

   4 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 너희에게 주어진 하나님의 은혜로 인해 내가 너희를 대신하여 항상 나의 하나님께 감사하노라.

5. 5 For in him you have been enriched in every way--in all your speaking and in all your knowledge--

   5 너희가 그분에 의해 모든 일 즉 모든 말과 모든 지식에 풍성하게 되었으니

6. 6 because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you.

   6 이것은 곧 그리스도의 증언이 너희 안에서 굳게 세워진 바와 같도다.

7. 7 Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.

   7 이로써 너희가 어떤 선물에도 뒤처지지 아니하며 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 오심을 기다리고 있는데

8. 8 He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

   8 그분께서 또한 너희를 끝까지 견고하게 하사 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 날에 너희가 책망받을 것이 없게 하시리라.

9. 9 God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.

   9 너희를 부르사 자신의 아들 예수 그리스도 우리 주와 교제하게 하시는 하나님은 신실하시도다.

10. 10 I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.

    10 형제들아, 이제 내가 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 너희에게 간청하노니 너희는 다 같은 것을 말하고 너희 가운데 분쟁이 없게 하며 같은 생각과 같은 판단 안에서 완전히 함께 결합하라.

11. 11 My brothers, some from Chloes household have informed me that there are quarrels among you.

    11 내 형제들아, 글로에의 집안에 속한 자들을 통해 너희에 관한 일 곧 너희 가운데 다툼이 있음을 내가 밝히 알게 되었노라.

12. 12 What I mean is this: One of you says, "I follow Paul"; another, "I follow Apollos"; another, "I follow Cephas"; still another, "I follow Christ."

    12 이제 내가 이것을 말하노니 그것은 곧 너희가 각각, 나는 바울에게, 나는 아볼로에게, 나는 게바에게, 나는 그리스도께 속한다, 하고 말한다는 것이라.

13. 13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into the name of Paul?

    13 그리스도께서 나뉘셨느냐? 바울이 너희를 위해 십자가에 못 박혔느냐? 혹은 너희가 바울의 이름으로 침례를 받았느냐?

14. 14 I am thankful that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius,

    14 내가 그리스보와 가이오 외에는 너희 중 아무에게도 침례를 주지 아니한 것에 대하여 하나님께 감사하노니

15. 15 so no one can say that you were baptized into my name.

    15 이것은 아무도 내가 내 이름으로 침례를 주었다고 말하지 못하게 하려 함이라.

16. 16 (Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I dont remember if I baptized anyone else.)

    16 내가 또한 스데바나의 집안사람들에게 침례를 주었고 그 외에는 다른 누구에게 내가 침례를 주었는지 알지 못하노라.

17. 17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel--not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

    17 그리스도께서 침례를 주라고 나를 보내지 아니하시고 복음을 선포하라고 보내셨으며 이 일을 말의 지혜로 하지 아니하게 하셨으니 이것은 그리스도의 십자가가 무효가 되지 않게 하려 하심이라.

18. 18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

    18 이는 십자가를 선포함이 멸망하는 자들에게는 어리석은 것이지만 구원받은 우리에게는 하나님의 권능이기 때문이라.

19. 19 For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate."

    19 기록된 바, 내가 지혜로운 자들의 지혜를 무너뜨리고 분별 있는 자들의 지각을 쓸모없게 만들리라, 하였으니

20. 20 Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

    20 지혜로운 자가 어디 있느냐? 서기관이 어디 있느냐? 이 세상의 변론가가 어디 있느냐? 하나님께서 이 세상의 지혜를 어리석게 만들지 아니하셨느냐?

21. 21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.

    21 하나님의 지혜에 있어서는 세상이 지혜로 하나님을 알지 못하였으므로 하나님께서 복음 선포의 어리석은 것으로 믿는 자들을 구원하시는 것을 기뻐하셨도다.

22. 22 Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom,

    22 유대인들은 표적을 요구하고 그리스인들은 지혜를 추구하나

23. 23 but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,

    23 우리는 십자가에 못 박히신 그리스도를 선포하노니 그분은 유대인들에게는 걸려 넘어지게 하는 것이요 그리스인들에게는 어리석은 것이지만

24. 24 but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

    24 부르심을 받은 자들에게는 유대인들에게나 그리스인들에게나 그리스도는 하나님의 권능이시요 하나님의 지혜이시니라.

25. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than mans wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than mans strength.

    25 이는 하나님의 어리석음이 사람들보다 지혜롭고 하나님의 약함이 사람들보다 강하기 때문이니라.

26. 26 Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth.

    26 형제들아, 너희는 너희가 부르심을 받은 것을 보라. 부르심을 받은 자로서 육체를 따라 지혜로운 자가 많지 아니하고 강력한 자가 많지 아니하며 고귀한 자가 많지 아니하도다.

27. 27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

    27 그러나 하나님께서 지혜로운 자들을 당황하게 하시려고 세상의 어리석은 것들을 택하셨고 하나님께서 강력한 것들을 당황하게 하시려고 세상의 약한 것들을 택하셨으며

28. 28 He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things--and the things that are not--to nullify the things that are,

    28 하나님께서 있는 것들을 쓸모없게 하시려고 세상의 천한 것들과 멸시받는 것들과 참으로 없는 것들을 택하셨나니

29. 29 so that no one may boast before him.

    29 이것은 어떤 육체도 자신 앞에서 자랑하지 못하게 하려 하심이라.

30. 30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.

    30 그러나 너희는 하나님에게서 나서 그리스도 예수님 안에 있고 예수님은 하나님에게서 나사 우리에게 지혜와 의와 성별과 구속이 되셨으니

31. 31 Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."

    31 이것은 그 일이 기록된 바, 자랑하는 자는 주를 자랑할지니라, 함과 같이 되게 하려 함이니라.
