빌립보서 1장 [KJV]

1. 1 예수 그리스도의 종 바울과 디모데는 빌립보에 있는 모든 성도들 곧 그리스도 예수님 안에 있는 성도들과 감독들과 집사들에게 편지하노니

   1 Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

2. 2 하나님 우리 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도로부터 은혜와 화평이 너희에게 있기를 원하노라.

   2 Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and [from] the Lord Jesus Christ.

3. 3 내가 너희를 기억할 때마다 나의 하나님께 감사를 드리고

   3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

4. 4 너희 모두를 위해 기도할 때마다 항상 기뻐하며 간구하노니

   4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

5. 5 이는 첫날부터 지금까지 너희가 복음 안에서 교제하였기 때문이라.

   5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

6. 6 너희 안에서 선한 일을 시작하신 분께서 예수 그리스도의 날까지 그 일을 이루시리라는 것, 바로 이것을 나는 확신하노라.

   6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ:

7. 7 내가 너희 모두에 대해 이렇게 생각하는 것이 합당하니 이는 너희가 내 마음속에 있기 때문이라. 나의 결박된 것과 복음을 변호하고 확증하는 일에 너희는 다 나의 은혜에 참여한 자들이니라.

   7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.

8. 8 내가 예수 그리스도의 심정으로 너희 모두를 얼마나 많이 그리워하는지에 대해서는 하나님께서 내 증인이시니라.

   8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

9. 9 내가 이것을 기도하노니 곧 너희의 사랑이 또한 지식과 모든 판단 면에서 더욱더 풍성해져서

   9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and [in] all judgment;

10. 10 너희가 뛰어난 것들을 입증하고 그리스도의 날까지 순전하고 걸려 넘어지게 하는 것이 없는 사람이 되며

    10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

11. 11 예수 그리스도로 말미암은 의의 열매들로 가득하여 하나님의 영광과 찬양이 되기를 구하노라.

    11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

12. 12 그러나 형제들아, 내게 일어난 일들이 도리어 복음을 진전시키는 계기가 된 줄을 너희가 알기를 내가 원하노라.

    12 But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things [which happened] unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;

13. 13 그리하여 그리스도 안에서 내가 결박된 것이 온 궁궐 안과 다른 모든 곳에 드러나게 되었고

    13 So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other [places];

14. 14 주 안에 있는 형제들 중의 많은 이들이 내가 결박된 것으로 말미암아 확신을 갖게 되어 두려움 없이 더욱더 담대하게 말씀을 말하게 되었느니라.

    14 And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

15. 15 참으로 어떤 이들은 심지어 시기와 다툼으로 그리스도를 선포하고 또한 어떤 이들은 선한 뜻으로 하나니

    15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

16. 16 한 부류는 내가 결박된 것에 고통을 더할 줄로 생각하여 순전하지 않게 다툼으로 그리스도를 선포하나

    16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:

17. 17 다른 부류는 내가 복음을 변호하기 위해 세워진 줄 알고 사랑으로 하느니라.

    17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

18. 18 그러면 무엇이냐? 그럼에도 불구하고 겉치레로 하든지 진실로 하든지 모든 방법으로 그리스도께서 선포되시나니 이로써 나는 그것을 기뻐하고 참으로 기뻐하리라.

    18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

19. 19 이는 너희 기도와 예수 그리스도의 영께서 공급해 주심을 통해 나의 간절한 기대와 소망에 따라 이것이 나의 구원으로 바뀔 줄 내가 알기 때문이라.

    19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

20. 20 나의 간절한 기대와 소망은 내가 어떤 일로도 수치를 당하지 아니하고 항상 그러하였듯이 지금도 온전히 담대하여 살든지 죽든지 내 몸 안에서 그리스도를 존귀하게 하는 것이니

    20 According to my earnest expectation and [my] hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but [that] with all boldness, as always, [so] now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether [it be] by life, or by death.

21. 21 이는 내게는 사는 것이 그리스도시요 죽는 것이 이득이기 때문이라.

    21 For to me to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain.

22. 22 그러나 내가 육체 안에 산다면 이것은 내 수고의 열매이니라. 그럼에도 내가 무엇을 택할지 알지 못하노니

    22 But if I live in the flesh, this [is] the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.

23. 23 이는 떠나서 그리스도와 함께 있기를 바라며 내가 둘 사이에 끼어 있기 때문이라. 떠나는 것이 훨씬 더 좋으나

    23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

24. 24 그럼에도 불구하고 육체 안에 거하는 것이 너희를 위해 더 필요하니라.

    24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh [is] more needful for you.

25. 25 이런 확신이 있으므로 너희가 누릴 믿음의 진보와 기쁨을 위해 내가 너희 모두와 함께 거하며 머무를 것을 아노니

    25 And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;

26. 26 이것은 내가 다시 너희에게 감으로 예수 그리스도 안에서 너희 기쁨이 나로 인해 더욱 풍성하게 하려 함이라.

    26 That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.

27. 27 오직 너희 행실을 그리스도의 복음에 합당하게 하라. 이것은 내가 가서 너희를 보든지 떠나 있든지 너희에 대한 일들 곧 너희가 한 영 안에 굳게 서서 복음의 믿음을 위해 한마음으로 함께 싸우며

    27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

28. 28 어떤 일에도 너희의 대적들로 인해 무서워하지 아니한다는 것을 내가 듣고자 함이라. 그것이 그들에게는 멸망의 명백한 증표요 너희에게는 구원의 증표인데 그것은 하나님에게서 났느니라.

    28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

29. 29 이는 그리스도를 믿는 것뿐만 아니라 그분을 위해 고난당하는 것도 그분을 위하여 너희에게 주어졌기 때문이라.

    29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

30. 30 너희가 내 안에서 보았고 지금도 내 안에 있다고 듣고 있는 그 동일한 싸움이 너희에게도 있느니라.

    30 Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear [to be] in me.
