How Long Has It Been

기도한 지 얼마나 되었습니까? 좀 이상한 질문처럼 들리지 않습니까? 이 사이트를 방문하는 분들은 대개 '말씀의 사람들'입니다. 그것으로 인해 주님을 찬양합니다. 그런데 그것이 혹시 글자로 끝나고 있지는 않습니까? 글자의 신앙인은 아닌지 묻고 싶습니다. 지금까지 20여 년을 이 서클에서 지내면서 느낀 것이 있습니다. 그것은 곧 나를 포함해서 대부분의 말씀 신앙인들이 기도하지 않는다는 것입니다. 최근에 얼마나 진지하게 기도해 봤습니까? 기도가 없으므로 원하는 부흥이 오지 않습니다. 토저는 목회하면서 자신의 사무실에 기도 바지를 두었다고 합니다. 양복을 갈아 입고 기도하기 위해서였습니다. 토저의 전기를 읽은 뒤 저는 조그만 것 하나를 실천하려고 노력하고 있습니다. 조그만 운동 매트를 사무실에 가져다 놓고 무릎 꿇고 머리를 바닥에 대고 기도하려고 애를 씁니다. 다른 것 없습니다. 하나님 앞에서 내 자신을 내려놓고 겸손히 행하겠다는 것을 그분께 보이는 것입니다. 긍휼을 구하는 것입니다. 집에서도 혼자 기도할 때는 여전히 무릎 꿇고 머리를 바닥에 대고 기도합니다. 오해하지 마십시오. 저는 기도가 매우 짧은 사람입니다. 하지만 다음에 기회가 주어진다면 말씀과 기도를 병행하는 사람들의 모임을 갖고 싶습니다. 기도에서 능력이 나옵니다. 다음의 노래는 무릎 꿇고 기도한 지 얼마나 되었는지 묻고 있습니다. 복이 되기를 바랍니다.
